United States v. Ellis
Docket: No. 08-7052
Court: Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit; July 7, 2009; Federal Appellate Court
Leroy Ellis appeals the district court's denial of his petition for redress of grievances. The appellate court reviewed the record and found no reversible error, thus affirming the district court's decision for the reasons stated in its ruling. The case reference is United States v. Ellis, Nos. 4:94-cr-70036-jlk-mfu-2; 4:08-cv-80035-jlk-mfu (W.D. Va. June 6, 2008). The court decided to forgo oral argument, determining that the facts and legal issues were sufficiently presented in the written materials and that further argument would not be beneficial to the decision-making process. The ruling is affirmed. Unpublished opinions are not binding precedent in this circuit.
