About Descrybe.ai
Free for everyone—with affordable tools to go further.
Descrybe.ai is transforming how people search and understand U.S. case law. Powered by generative AI, our platform simplifies complex legal information, making it easier to access—for legal professionals, students, and the public alike. Our core tools are always free. Anyone can search millions of U.S. judicial opinions in plain English or Spanish and instantly get clear, simplified summaries—no login required. For those who need more, our affordable Legal Research Toolkit unlocks advanced features like deeper case analysis, AI-powered discovery tools, and enhanced legal insights—designed to support more precise and efficient research. Since our launch in summer 2023, we’ve made over 3.6 million court decisions searchable and summarized. Our coverage includes state supreme courts, appellate courts, federal district and appellate courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, and U.S. bankruptcy courts. Descrybe.ai has been honored with several industry recognitions, including being named a two-time honoree of the American Legal Technology Awards 2024, receiving a Silver Anthem Award 2024, and being recognized as a finalist for both the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards and the Webby Awards in 2024 and 2025. Additionally, our co-founder was named to the ABA Women of Legal Tech 2024 list. At Descrybe.ai, we believe access to the law should be a right—not a privilege.
