About descrybe.ai

Built in Boston. Free for everyone.

descrybe.ai provides a groundbreaking approach to searching and understanding case law. Leveraging generative AI, we simplify complex legal information, making it accessible for both professionals and laypeople alike. Our mission is to deliver easy, free access to case law research, reducing costs, enhancing usability, and incorporating natural language search with summaries available in both English and Spanish.

To date, we’ve made over 3.6 million judicial opinions from across the United States searchable and summarized, including decisions from state supreme courts, appellate courts, federal district courts, federal appellate courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court (see our Opinion Tracker in the footer for more details).

Since our launch in summer 2023, we have been honored with numerous industry accolades. These include our co-founder’s recognition as an ABA Women of Legal Tech 2024, along with being named an American Legal Technology Awards 2024 Finalist, Anthem Awards 2024 Finalist, BostInno Fire Awards 2024 Honoree, Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards 2024 Finalist, and Webby Awards 2024 Finalist.

But what matters most to us is what you think. Please share your thoughts—see our contact information in the footer.
