International Rectifier Corporation filed a motion to lift the stay on the briefing schedule for an appeal related to a damages judgment from the United States District Court for the Central District of California. IXYS Corporation opposed this motion and argued for the vacating of the damages judgment due to the absence of a liability judgment. The court previously addressed the liability issue and vacated and remanded certain findings related to infringement. In light of IXYS's arguments and the recent decision on liability, the court agreed that the damages judgment should be vacated, allowing for further proceedings in the district court as needed. Consequently, the district court's judgment was vacated, and the case was remanded for appropriate actions. International Rectifier's motion to lift the stay was deemed moot.
