Ong v. Ashcroft
Citation: 99 F. App'x 147Docket: No. 02-74378
Court: Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; June 4, 2004; Federal Appellate Court
Antonius Ong's petition for review regarding his asylum application, withholding of removal, and relief under the Convention Against Torture has been denied. The Immigration Judge deemed Ong not credible, a determination upheld by the Board of Immigration Appeals. However, the reviewing body concluded that even if Ong's testimony were accepted as true, it did not demonstrate past persecution or establish a well-founded fear of future persecution. Consequently, the petition for review is denied, and the decision is not to be published or cited in future cases, in accordance with Ninth Circuit Rule 36-3.
