The Michigan Supreme Court issued an order on January 8, 2008, reversing the Court of Appeals' judgment in the case of Pamela Fowler, Personal Representative of the Estate of Delores Alice Schei, Deceased, against Botsford General Hospital and Dr. Sanford H. Sklar. The Court determined that the plaintiff is part of a class entitled to relief as identified in a prior case (Mullins v St Joseph Mercy Hospital). The case is remanded to the Oakland Circuit Court for an order denying the defendants' motion for summary disposition and for further proceedings consistent with this ruling and the Mullins decision. The Court denied leave to appeal on other questions not deemed worthy of review. The Clerk of the Michigan Supreme Court certified the order.
