The Michigan Supreme Court issued an order on June 28, 2011, regarding the case of Temperance Roberts, representing the estate of Sandra Lynn Roberts, deceased, against defendants Thomas M. Pinson, D.O., Sohrab Shafinia, D.O., and City Medical, P.C. The Court denied the defendants' motion to consolidate the case and also denied the application for leave to appeal a prior order from the Court of Appeals dated November 10, 2010. The Court expressed that it was not persuaded that the questions presented warranted review. Justice Zahra did not participate in the decision due to his previous involvement on the Court of Appeals panel. The order was certified by Clerk Corbin R. Davis.
