The Joint Petition for Disbarment by Consent, submitted under Maryland Rule 19-736, reveals that Respondent Jonathan Kenneth Friedlander admitted to sufficient evidence supporting allegations of professional misconduct. This misconduct violated former Maryland Lawyers’ Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15(a) and 8.4(a) and (d), as well as former Maryland Rules 16-606.1 and 16-607, and Business Occupations and Professions Article 10-306. As a result, on January 12, 2017, the court ordered Friedlander to be disbarred from practicing law in Maryland, effective immediately. Additionally, the court instructed the Clerk to remove Friedlander's name from the register of attorneys, notify him of the order, and adhere to the notification requirements outlined in Maryland Rules 19-742(a)(1) and 19-761(b).
