Jared Scott Goodman, an attorney admitted to practice in New York in 2010, sought to resign from the New York bar for nondisciplinary reasons. The Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department (AGC) did not oppose his application. Following a review of Goodman's affidavit and AGC's response, the court determined that Goodman was eligible for resignation. The court granted his application, accepted his nondisciplinary resignation, and ordered that his name be stricken from the roll of attorneys in New York effective immediately. Furthermore, Goodman is prohibited from practicing law in New York in any capacity and must surrender any Attorney Secure Pass issued to him within 30 days.
