Alamo v. Cole
Citations: 328 Ark. 139; 941 S.W.2d 425Docket: 97-318
Court: Supreme Court of Arkansas; April 14, 1997; Arkansas; State Supreme Court
Appellant Tony Alamo, represented by attorney Eric M. Lieberman, filed a motion for rule on the clerk, claiming that the Clerk of the Supreme Court improperly rejected his petition for review based on an unwritten practice that the Supreme Court does not review per curiam decisions from the Court of Appeals. The court noted that if the petition was rejected for this reason, it would constitute an error. However, upon reviewing the petition, the court concluded that it lacks merit. Consequently, the motion is denied.
