Michael Anthony Ford was convicted of distributing a controlled substance under § 13A-12-211 of the Code of Alabama 1975. After his conviction, Ford appealed, resulting in a remand to the Circuit Court for Tallapoosa County for the purpose of enhancing his sentence pursuant to §§ 13A-12-250 and 13A-12-270. The trial court has fulfilled the remand instructions and sentenced Ford to a total of 12 years in prison. The appellate court affirmed both the conviction and the sentence, with all judges concurring.
