Citation: 274 So. 3d 1251Docket: NO. 2019-B-0688
Court: Supreme Court of Louisiana; June 17, 2019; Louisiana; State Supreme Court
Respondent Victor Roy Loraso, III, was convicted of possession and distribution of child pornography. He and the Office of Disciplinary Counsel jointly petitioned for consent discipline, acknowledging his misconduct and seeking permanent disbarment. The court reviewed the petition and concurred that permanent disbarment is warranted. Consequently, Loraso's name will be removed from the Louisiana Bar Roll, and his law license will be revoked. He is permanently barred from reapplying for admission to the practice of law in Louisiana. Additionally, all costs and expenses related to the matter will be charged to Loraso, with legal interest accruing thirty days post-judgment until settled.
