Nursefinders of St. Petersburg, Inc. v. Dolan
Docket: No. 92-02279
Court: District Court of Appeal of Florida; April 21, 1993; Florida; State Appellate Court
The trial court's amended final judgment limited post-judgment interest on the original final judgment to six months, despite the amended judgment being issued two years later and only including attorney's fees related to the collection of the original judgment. The trial court's rationale for ceasing interest accrual on a judgment that required no further judicial action is unclear. Citing St. Cloud Utilities v. Moore, the appellate court reversed the limitation on post-judgment interest and remanded the case for further proceedings. The decision was concurred by Chief Judge Lehan and Judges Danahy and Frank.
