Hope C. Hogya filed a pro se appeal regarding a domestic violence civil protection order issued by the Lake County Court of Common Pleas on July 8, 2021. This order was effective for one year for the petitioner, Paige Hogya, and her daughter. Subsequent motions to modify or terminate the order were filed by Hope Hogya but were denied by the court on October 13, 2021. A motion for contempt filed by Hope was dismissed on October 22, 2021.

The appeal was filed on June 13, 2022, but did not include the required entry being appealed, which is mandated by App.R. 3(D) and Loc.R. 3(C)(2). The last entry from the trial court was dated October 22, 2021, making any appeal from that entry untimely under App.R. 4(A). Consequently, the court dismissed the appeal sua sponte. The judgment was concurred by Judges Matt Lynch and John J. Eklund.
