City of Ladue v. Rafaeli
Citations: 14 S.W.3d 258; 2000 Mo. App. LEXIS 272; 2000 WL 199008Docket: No. ED 76406
Court: Missouri Court of Appeals; February 21, 2000; Missouri; State Appellate Court
Boaz Rafaeli's appeal from the trial court's decision is based on two main issues: the dismissal of his Application for Trial De Novo due to his non-appearance and the denial of his motion for appointment of counsel. The trial court subsequently remanded the case to the municipal court of the City of Ladue for judgment execution. After reviewing the parties' briefs and the case record, the appellate court found no merit in Rafaeli's claims of error and determined that no legal errors were present. Consequently, the court affirmed the trial court's judgment under Rule 84.16(b). Additionally, the City of Ladue's Motion to Strike Rafaeli’s Exhibits was granted, while their Motion to Strike Rafaeli’s First Amended Brief and Motion to Dismiss his Appeal were denied.
