On September 16, 2021, the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas issued an order concerning the appeal of Bradley B. Miller against Meredith Leyendecker and others. Following a prior order from July 23, 2021, which dismissed the appeal against several appellees, the appeal now proceeds solely against Judge Andrea Plumlee of the 330th Judicial District Court. Appellant Miller submitted a letter on September 13, 2021, requesting the removal of the dismissed parties from the appeal caption. The court granted this request and directed that all future filings reflect the updated caption: "Bradley B. Miller v. Andrea Plumlee." Additionally, the court ordered the Dallas County District Clerk, Felicia Pitre, to file a supplemental clerk’s record by September 27, 2021, which must include specified documents related to the case. The order was signed by Chief Justice Robert D. Burns, III, and copies were directed to be sent to the relevant parties and the clerk.
