On September 1, 2020, the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas issued an order regarding Nicholas Ryan Nadeau's pro se second motion for an extension of time to file his response to counsel’s Anders brief. Nadeau requested a sixty-day extension due to limited access to the law library imposed by prison authorities amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The court granted the motion, setting a new deadline for the pro se response to be filed by November 30, 2020. The Clerk was instructed to electronically transmit copies of the order to the parties’ counsel and to mail a copy to Nadeau at his designated prison address.
