Appellants Eduardo Sanchez and Alec Transport LLC failed to file their brief by the February 20, 2020 deadline. The Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas, ordered them to submit their brief and a written explanation for the delay by March 27, 2020. The explanation must clarify (1) the reasons for the late filing and (2) why the appellee, Santander Bank, is not significantly harmed by this delay. If the appellants do not comply by the specified date, the court may dismiss the appeal for lack of prosecution, as per Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.8(a) and 42.3(c). The order was issued by Justice Irene Rios and is documented with the court's seal by Clerk of Court Michael A. Cruz.
