On November 6, 2019, the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas issued an order regarding the appeal No. 05-19-00923-CV involving appellant Curtis Mays and appellees Piper Hunn, Trisha Moore, and Red Dog Properties, LLC. The court previously ordered the appeal to proceed without the reporter’s record and set a deadline for the appellees' responsive brief. In response to appellant Mays' letter dated October 28, 2019, which clarified that he did not request the reporter’s record due to a misunderstanding, the court partially vacated its October 24 order. The court ordered the official court reporter, Janet E. Wright, to file the reporter’s record by December 6, 2019. Additionally, Mays was instructed to submit any amended brief by December 20, 2019, with the appellees' brief due by January 21, 2020. The Clerk of the Court was directed to send copies of the order to the reporter and the involved parties. The order was signed by Justice Ken Molberg.
