The Supreme Court of Oklahoma established the 2019 uniform mileage reimbursement rate for expenses paid from the court fund, as mandated by the State Travel Reimbursement Act (74 O.S. Section 500.4). Effective for the year 2019, the reimbursement rate for the authorized use of privately owned motor vehicles is set at 58 cents per mile, aligning with the standard business mileage rate prescribed by the Internal Revenue Service in 2019. This rate applies to reimbursements for jurors, interpreters, and witnesses among others. The order was issued on December 19, 2018, by the Chief Justice. The opinion is not yet released for public publication and may be revised or withdrawn.
