On February 27, 2018, the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio notified court reporter Luis Duran, Jr. about the overdue filing of the reporter's record for the appeal in the case of AUTOBUSES ZAVALA PLUS v. Maria Torres MARTINEZ. The court indicated that if the delay was due to the appellant's failure to pay the reporter's fee, the reporter was required to notify the court within ten days. As the court reporter failed to submit the required notification or the reporter's record within the specified timelines, the court ordered Duran to file the reporter’s record by April 16, 2018. Should the record not be received by this deadline, Duran may face a contempt order. Justice Irene Rios signed the order, with Clerk of Court Keith E. Hottle attesting to it on April 6, 2018.
