On October 29, 2015, the Fourteenth Court of Appeals ruled on the appeal case involving Fleming Associates, L.L.P. (now known as Fleming, Nolen, Jez, L.L.P.) as the appellant against Charles Kirklin, Stephen Kirklin, Paul Kirklin, and The Kirklin Law Firm, P.C. as appellees. The Court considered its own motion to dismiss the appeal stemming from an order issued on April 6, 2015, and found the motion to be valid. Consequently, the appeal was dismissed.
