Terrance Wayne Davis attempted to appeal the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals’ denial of his motion for leave to file an original application for a writ of mandamus. The Court of Appeals for the Second District of Texas, Fort Worth, expressed concerns regarding its jurisdiction over the appeal, noting that it cannot review decisions made by the Court of Criminal Appeals as per Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 11.07(a).
