Original Court Document: View Document
Michael Bien's appeal against Lori Bien was dismissed by the Eighth District Court of Texas for want of prosecution. The court determined that Bien had not submitted a brief or requested an extension for filing one, as required by Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure. On June 14, 2012, the court's Clerk notified Bien that his brief was overdue and warned that the appeal would be dismissed unless a response was provided within ten days. No response was received, leading to the dismissal of the appeal on July 31, 2012. The decision was made by Justices McClure, Rivera, and Antcliff.
