The Court of Appeals for the Fourth District of San Antonio issued an order on August 1, 2014, regarding the appeal case No. 04-14-00011-CV involving J. Felix Gonzalez-Limon (Appellant) and Ruth Gonzalez (Appellee), originating from trial court case No. 2013-CI-06392. After reviewing the record and briefs, the Court determined that oral argument would not significantly aid in resolving the legal and factual issues of the appeal. Consequently, all requests for oral argument were denied, and the case was scheduled for submission on briefs for September 10, 2014, to a panel consisting of Justices Marion, Barnard, and Chapa. Parties were informed they could file a motion for reconsideration regarding the decision to forego oral argument within ten days of the order. The order was signed by Justice Sandee Marion.
