Hector Perez v. State
Citation: Not availableDocket: 13-11-00761-CR
Court: Court of Appeals of Texas; August 30, 2012; Texas; State Appellate Court
Original Court Document: View Document
Hector Perez, the appellant, filed a motion to withdraw his appeal against the State of Texas, indicating that he no longer wishes to pursue the case. The Thirteenth Court of Appeals granted this motion without addressing the merits of the case and subsequently dismissed the appeal in accordance with Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 42.2(a). The court noted that, because the appeal was dismissed at the appellant's request, no rehearing motions would be considered, and the mandate would be issued immediately. The opinion was delivered and filed on August 30, 2012. The decision is not to be published as per Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 47.2(b).
