Lewis Casing Crews, Inc.’s petition for a writ of mandamus has been conditionally granted by the 11th Court of Appeals in Eastland, Texas. The court has directed the trial court to vacate its March 17, 2014 order that denied Lewis Casing Crews, Inc.’s motion for designation of a responsible third party and to issue a new order granting that motion. The writ of mandamus will be issued only if the trial court does not comply by July 30, 2014. The memorandum opinion was authored by Chief Justice Wright, with Justices Willson and Bailey participating in the panel.
