David Goad v. State
Citation: Not availableDocket: 04-09-00429-CR
Court: Court of Appeals of Texas; September 23, 2009; Texas; State Appellate Court
Original Court Document: View Document
David Goad's appeal against the State of Texas has been dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction. The appellate court previously notified Goad that the trial court clerk's record was missing a final appealable order, which is required for a valid appeal under Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 27.1. Goad was instructed to file a supplemental clerk’s record by August 13, 2009, to include this necessary order. However, he failed to respond or provide the required documentation. As a result, the court concluded it could not consider the appeal and dismissed it for want of jurisdiction. The decision was delivered per curiam and is not intended for publication.
