Wanda F. Look, as trustee of the Dwight Look Revocable Trust and independent executor of the Estate of Dwight Look, deceased, alongside appellees Marion Look-Jameson (Guardian of the Estate of R. L. J., a minor) and Linda Look, filed a Joint Motion to Dismiss a petition for writ of mandamus. The parties have reached a settlement, resulting in the dismissal of the underlying proceedings with prejudice by the trial courts. Consequently, the Texas Court of Appeals lifts any stay on proceedings from November 10, 2005, grants the Joint Motion to Dismiss, and formally dismisses the petition. The memorandum opinion was filed on January 9, 2008, by Justice G. Alan Waldrop, with concurrence from Chief Justice Law and Justice Pemberton.
