On January 21, 2003, appellant Sabrina Nigreville informed the Texas Court of Appeals that she has reached a resolution with appellees Tranum Buick Inc. and Kliewer Bingham, Incorporated, and is in the process of drafting a settlement agreement. Nigreville requested a stay on further proceedings until the settlement is finalized. The court agreed to abate the appeal for 45 days, extending the deadline to March 7, 2003. The parties are also required to provide a status report on the appeal by February 28, 2003, unless a motion for voluntary dismissal is filed before that date. The order was issued by Justice Lee Yeakel, with Justices Kidd and Patterson also in agreement. The document was filed on January 30, 2003.
