J. Aron & Co. v. Mississippi Shipping Co.
Docket: 450
Court: Supreme Court of the United States; December 14, 1959; Federal Supreme Court; Federal Appellate Court
The Supreme Court of the United States granted a petition for a writ of certiorari in J. Aron Company, Inc. v. Mississippi Shipping Company, Inc., No. 450, on November 23, 1959. The case arose after the Court of Appeals reversed an interlocutory decree from the District Court. However, following this reversal and the filing of the certiorari petition, a consent judgment for damages and costs was issued by the District Court. Consequently, the Supreme Court vacated the Court of Appeals' judgment and remanded the case with instructions to dismiss the appeal as moot.
